Released for AT&T and T-Mobile, the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700 is a thinner, lighter and updated version of its predecessor, the BlackBerry Bold 9000 smartphone but keeps the same 2.44-inch displpay and 35-key QWERTY keyboard. The new handset replaces the original Bold's trackball with an optical trackpad.
